Company culture is the backbone of any successful organization.

Metro Pacific Tollways Corporation (MPTC) is committed to continuously promote the revitalized core values, or I-CARE. Following the workshops conducted for MPTC officers and managers, the company started the culture cascade to the fourteen batches of assistant managers, supervisors and senior specialists from August 23 up to the end of November 2022.

The one-day Embracing the Culture Workshop, facilitated by Ms. Ruby Calampiano, Learning & Development Consultant, started off with the “Outward Mindset” topic. Dave Moss of Arbinger Institute quoted that “mindset drives behavior.” Right mindset is vital before any organization can totally exemplify and embody its corporate culture and values.

After the participants appreciated the importance of having the right mindset and learning the different outward mindset frameworks, the second half of the session focused now on embracing and leading the culture. Definitions, behavioral indicators, and applications of the I-CARE values were tackled, as the leadership qualities and skills needed that drive the direction of MPTC in the future.

Fun filled activities, inspirational videos and exercises were shown and facilitated all throughout the workshop to stimulate employees’ learnings and realization on how they can apply the concepts and lectures on their everyday work.

MPTC’s culture journey has just started and will go on until everyone attends the Embracing the Culture Workshop Cascade sessions for specialists and associates and until our “malasakit culture” is already embedded with the heart of every MPTC employees.
