NORTHLINK: What clever ways do you do to empower your team?

Do nothing. The best way to empower your team is to do nothing. You do nothing because you trust them. You take a step back because you fully believe that they are wholly capable, that you have taught them well and guided them towards their goals. You do nothing because you trust that you have developed a team that you are proud of, and that can stand their own ground and make your company proud as well.

What it means to empower a team is to let them realize the strength of their own powers and capabilities. You elevate them, and you step out of the way so that their brilliance does not hide in your shadows. You do nothing, and you let them shine in their own light.
