Quick Analysis Box

This Excel feature lets you access various data analysis options easily for a selected range with just a few commands.

Using Quick Analysis Box

1. After you select a range of data the Quick Analysis Box icon will appear.

2. Check the different option that will match your needs. 

3. For this example, we will choose Sparklines.

Sparklines are mini charts placed in single cells. They can help you to easily visualize the data without taking too much space compared to charts.

You may try and explore other options using the Quick Analysis Box.

Excel TRIM Function

What is a TRIM function in excel?

It removes all extra spaces from a text, leaving only the single space between words.

Using TRIM Function on single cell

1. Select a specific cell where the result will be encoded.

2. Type the formula =Trim(A2), where A2 is the reference cell where the text is.

3. Press Enter for the result.

Using TRIM function on a range of cells

1. Select a specific cell where the result will be encoded.  Type the formula =TRIM(

2. Select a range of cells from which the texts will come from.

3. Press Enter for the result.

Most efficient Shortcut You Might Not Be Using

1. Copying values by using CTRL+SHIFT+V

1. Select a cell or range to copy CTRL+C
2. Paste the value on using CTR+SHIFT+V

Using CTR+SHIFT+V will paste values only, removing the formatting and formulas.

2. Moving and selecting of data at the beginning  and ending of the worksheet using  CTRL+HOME, END, ARROWS  KEY

1. CTRL+ HOME this will instantly take you to the to the beginning of the worksheet. Cell is reference at L390

b. After pressing CTRL + HOME it will take you to the cell A1 or the beginning of worksheet.

3. CTRL+SHIFT+ HOME this will instantly select all data from you reference point  to the to the beginning of the worksheet.

You can also check the result using CTRL+End, Arrow up, down, right, and left keys.
