Family time is important for building strong relationships and creating lasting memories. In my little family, I always believe that it is the little things that have the most significant impact on our relationship. It is the small, everyday actions that strengthen our bonds and create a warm, easy, and supportive environment at home. Here are some examples of those little things that probably should matter in our family units:

- Daily Check-ins: Asking each other about their day and really listening to the responses (kahit minsan, paulit-ulit!).
- Shared Meals: Eating together without distractions like TV or phones (a bit challenging though!).
- Compliments and Gratitude: Regularly expressing appreciation and acknowledging each other’s efforts.
- Hugs and Kisses: Physical affection can make everyone feel loved and secure.
- Inside Jokes: Sharing laughs over little things that only your family understands.
- Helping with Chores: Offering to help each other out with daily tasks.
- Surprise Notes: Leaving little notes of encouragement or love where they’ll be found unexpectedly.
- Bedtime Rituals: Reading stories, discussing the day, or just spending a few quiet moments together before sleep.
- Celebrating Achievements: Recognizing and celebrating even small accomplishments.
- Quality Time: Spending time together without distractions, even if it’s just a few minutes a day.

These small gestures can add up to a strong, loving family environment. In fact, creating and cherishing these memories will probably help us to build a strong foundation for our family relationships and core memories together.
