After five months of exhilarating rally and intense competition, the 8th MVP Olympics has drawn to a spectacular close. The 2024 MVP Olympics returned after being suspended for three years due to the pandemic. It came back with renewed energy under the theme “Tuloy ang Alab, Tuloy ang Laban”. This elevated the competition, drama, and excitement to new heights. This year’s Olympics featured multiple events spread over a rigorous five-month schedule, bringing together extraordinary talent and camaraderie.
On October 23, 2024, the MVP Olympics Closing Ceremony was held at the newly renovated Meralco Theatre. The ceremony featured the final two events: the Ms. MVPO competition and the highly anticipated Broadway Musical. Representing Metro Pacific Tollways Corporation (MPTC) in the Ms. MVPO competition was Ms. Carla Marcelo from Toll Operations. She also showcased an elegant evening gown. These performances ultimately earned her the esteemed title of 2nd Runner-Up.

MPTC’s Broadway performance was nothing short of phenomenal as they took the stage to present Les Misérables. Their voices, acting prowess, and stage confidence left the audience spellbound, capturing the intense emotion and grandeur of the musical. The team’s stellar performance earned them the 1st Runner-Up position, accompanied by well-deserved silver medals.

Overall, Metro Pacific Tollways Corporation shone throughout the MVP Olympics, finishing in an impressive 3rd place. The team earned a total of 115 points. They garnered six Golds, 17 Silvers, and 17 Bronze medals. This marks a truly outstanding achievement.
