The NLEX-SLEX Connector Road Project is an 8-kilometer elevated 4-lane toll expressway located at C3 Road, Caloocan City extending southward of NLEX (North Luzon Expressway) Segment 10 to Sta. Mesa, Manila connecting to the Skyway Stage 3, on which construction started in May 2019. It includes two interchanges at C3 Road/5th Avenue, Caloocan, and Espana, Manila. The project is expected to reduce the travel time from SLEX to NLEX from 2 hours to 20 minutes and 3 hours to 1 hour and 40 minutes from Clark to Calamba.

The first section, a 5.15-kilometer project between Caloocan and Espana is expected to be completed by Q4 this year and has 86.42% construction activity accomplishment per DPWH report. Last December 5, the first interchange was fully lit up as it is one of the most critical safety features on the roads.

While the 2nd Section, a 2.75-kilometer project has 24.29% construction activity accomplishment and has been revised to its target completion date in the 2nd Quarter of 2023.
This project will help motorists and the public to safe mobility and the development of Manila, Caloocan, Malabon, and Navotas Areas. Moreover, the connector project will give better access to Manila Ports in North Harbor and Philippine airports.
