On April 29, 2024, the typical workday at NLEX Corporation began with a refreshing twist for over 20 employees of the Corporate & Stakeholder Management Division. Gathering in the Main Boardroom, they embarked on an enriching activity facilitated by HRAD—a Tabletop session. This event is specially designed to foster engagement and dialogue among the members of the team. Despite many of them being with the company for less than two years, enthusiasm filled the room as they eagerly embraced the opportunity to be heard and to contribute.
During the session, participants seized the platform to identify successes, voice concerns, and address issues within their division and the broader company landscape. Beyond professional matters, they also delved into discussions concerning their own well-being.

What truly distinguished this gathering was the sense of collaboration and unity fostered. As ideas flowed freely and actionable plans took shape, it was evident that each voice was not only valued but is essential to the collective progress. The safe space provided to them during the session allowed individuals to express themselves freely, fostering a culture of openness.

Here are some of the things the participants got to say about the Tabletop Session:
Thomas Dominique Geronimo – Community Engagement Senior Specialist
“The activity was fun and interactive. It provided a venue for HR and employees to connect. Kudos to HR!”
Shawntel Elaine D. Fenomeno – Creative Senior Specialist
“The Table Top session conducted by HR serves as a valuable platform, providing a safe space for employees to voice their opinions and raise issues or concerns. Thank you for valuing employees’ feedback through this invaluable session.”
Madelaine D. Durante – Events and Special Projects Specialist
“My first tabletop experience made me realize that our HR Department is very hands-on with everyone, making sure that each employee’s concerns are addressed and noted.
This made me feel heard– which is rare in other companies. This is a “people-focused” initiative that most corporations should adopt. Thank you, HR!”
