NLEX C5 North Link Under Way – Segment 8.2 Section 1A Civil Works Construction Contract Awarded

A key component of the NLEX-C5 North Link Project, the Segment 8.2 Section 1A Civil Works Construction Contract was awarded to China Road and Bridge Corporation. Having a starting date of February 15, 2025 and a Completion Date of February 14, 2026, the Segment 8.2 Section 1A is the first 2-kilometer section serving as an east-west 24/7 Truck Route decongesting Mindanao Avenue and Quirino Highway.

Segment 8.2 will extend the NLEX footprint to the eastern portion, widening the expressway’s customer base. Section 1A of Segment 8.2 will add entries and exit at the Quirino Ave. area.

NLEX-C5 North Link Project is part of the Strategic Projects under the 10-point Agenda of the MPTC Road to 100B Revenue by 2030.
