Occupational First Aid and Basic Life Support – Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation with Automated External Defibrillator Training for NLEX employees is a fundamental part of promoting a safe workplace. This two-day course offers first aid techniques, CPR with AED, and responds to occupational hazards. Given the unpredictable medical emergencies that may occur, employees will be equipped, trained, and duly certified to administer first aid in the workplace.
The training covers essential first aid techniques in providing Basic Life Support such as CPR using defibrillators, managing cardiac arrest, proper bandaging, and treating bones, joints, and muscle injuries.

The two-day course was held in Greenery, Bulacan last May 15 & 16 in partnership with the Philippine Red Cross, Bulacan Chapter. The training was attended by 25 participants from Toll Operations, Traffic, and Support. It emphasized the importance of immediate medical help in the event of an injury or illness, which can prevent further harm, reduce the likelihood of accidents, and potentially save lives. The two-day course includes a training kit, pocket CPR mask, certificate of proficiency, and License ID (Certificate of Completion).

By providing employees with the tools, skills, and knowledge to respond promptly to medical emergencies, NLEX can create a safer work environment and support commitment to employee well-being.
