The Round Table experience in 2024 has just become more enriching and exciting as the selected participants now have the opportunity to engage not only with JLLB but also with other esteemed members of the Managament Committee (ManCom).




Held at FYM Seafood Restaurant on January 26, 2024, this exclusive session featured 20 employees from the Operations Management Division who were chosen to be a part of this event. Present among the ManCom members were Mr. Glenn Campos of the Technology Division, Mr. Nemy Castillo of the Tollway Development and Engineering Division, Ms. Joy Orig of the Legal Services Division, Ms. JJ Go of the Asset Management Division, Ms. Donna Marcelo of the Communication and Stakeholder Management Division, Ms. West Dionisio of the Operations Division, Ms. Sigrid Shun of the Human Resources and Administration Division, and Mr. J Luigi Bautista, NLEX President and General Manager.
The atmosphere during the session was highly interactive, fostering an environment where selected participants and ManCom members willingly shared their experiences from the previous year, and outlined their goals for the year 2024. Applause and laughter resonated through the festive venue as participants indulged in a sumptuous meal specially prepared for the occasion.
Adding a layer of engagement, a Q&A portion with the leaders was seamlessly integrated into the program, allowing participants to openly address their concerns. Towards the latter part of the session, JLLB shared a poignant message, drawing inspiration from the movie “Firefly.” He emphasized that although everyone may have different tasks and responsibilities, the overarching goal remains the same – to contribute to the prosperity and elevation of NLEX Corporation.

The Round Table encounter not only strengthened the bonds within the NLEX Corporation but also set the stage for collaborative endeavors and shared success in the future.

The Round Table Session with the president and with the members of the MANCOM was a very joyful experience and we were able to talk to the members of the leaders of our company and know for the first time some of my co-employees. I was looking forward to the said event prior to the said date and I am very pleased that all my expectations were fulfilled, and I was able to raise the questions and recommend ideas that have been lingering at the back of my mind for years. Nakadaupan palad namin ang mga namumuno sa ating kumpanya, sa kabila ng dami ng kanilang trabaho ay naglaan sila ng pahahon para rito. Sa maikling panahon ay nakilala po namin sila sa pamamagitan ng pagbahagi namin ng kaunting impormasyon tungkol sa aming mga personal na buhay. Sana po ay magtuloy pa ang mga ganitong programa para maranasan pa ng karamihan sa ating mga kasama sa NLEX.

(The) Meet and greet with/ our President and Member of Mancom and Co-workers is one way of sharing memorable experiences in 2023, all attendees were cooperative in the discussion. Few questions were raised and answers. Our President and Mancom gave updates this coming 2024 regarding targets. Overall expectations were met, and the food was also great.

Round Table with the JLLB and ManCom members is exciting but nakakaba. Exciting kasi makakasama mo ung mga heads, mameet mo sila ng personal. Makakausap ng malapitan hindi tulad kapag may General Assembly nakikita mo lang sila sa harap, ikaw nasa likuran at malayo pa. Pero hindi pala nakakaba, masaya at mababait sila at low profile pa. Nung nagkaron nga ng introduce yourself sa table namin mas nakikilala ko sila, may mga struggle at stress din pala sila sa work. Looking forward nga nila sa 2024 less stress at struggle sa work. Sa Q&A naman ok naman yung mga tanong, satisfied at nalinawan naman po ako. About naman sa food masarap at sosyal ng venue. Salamat po after a year masama po ulit.
