In its pursuit of delivering the ultimate mobility experience, NLEX Corporation held its 2023 Business Plan Rollout on February 10, 2023, at Novotel Manila Araneta City. Themed “Service with a Heart,” the conference showcases each division’s plans and programs for 2023.

MPTC President and CEO Rodrigo E. Franco started the event by presenting MPIC’s achievements last 2022, its strategies for 2023, and the important role the intensified corporate culture, ICARE, plays in achieving MPIC’s goals. NLEX CFO Ma. Theresa O. Wells presented NLEX Corporation’s targets this year, which are optimistic and higher considering the opening of Connector Road, further normalizing of business operations post-pandemic, and considering implementation of toll rate adjustment.

NLEX Division presentations followed suit, showcasing their plans for 2023 which intend to intensify the company’s heart-filled service to its customers.

The Legal team, headed by Atty. Joseph Marigomen, served with love, as they gave life to 2023 Business Rollout with different quirks in the tune of the then-coming Valentine’s Day. Attendees were encouraged to don different colors of clothes – yellow for “it’s complicated”, red for “finally found someone”, blue for “right love at the wrong time”, and white for “waiting for the right person/time.” Games included love teams and rom-com films both old and new, and, with the special participation of Michael Mallari of Legal, a singing bee of love songs. A same-day edit was also lovingly presented by the hosts.

NLEX President and General Manager J. Luigi L. Bautista capped the event by emphasizing the focus on project completion, financial profitability, operations and maintenance, customer experience, and people as key ingredients to NLEX’s success. His closing remarks ended with a surprise birthday greeting from his NLEX family.
