The usual hustle and bustle of a workday at NLEX Corporation took a refreshing detour on November 19, 2024, where more than 20 employees from the Toll Operations Department did not report to their respective toll plazas and instead gathered at the ODB 2nd Floor Gym to engage in a transformative Table Top Session organized by HRAD.
For many, this was a first. It was a unique opportunity to step away from their daily responsibilities and immerse in meaningful dialogue. The atmosphere was charged with excitement and anticipation. Participants eagerly embraced this chance and shared their thoughts, collaborated, and drove change.
The session provided participants with a platform to discuss their experiences within the department and the company. It was a time to celebrate achievements, address concerns, and identify areas for improvement. The event was particularly impactful because it focused not only on operational matters. It also prioritized the personal well-being of the attendees.

Discussions ranged from operational challenges to wellness initiatives, reflecting a holistic approach to fostering a supportive workplace environment. The inclusion of well-being topics underscored the company’s commitment to its employees beyond their professional roles.
The safe space provided during the session encouraged open communication, ensuring every participant felt heard and valued. Ideas flowed freely during the session. It became clear that every voice contributed to the collective success of the department. This also benefited the organization as a whole.
The session fostered a culture of openness, breaking down barriers and building bridges among colleagues. It served as a reminder that progress stems from unity, collaboration, and mutual respect.
