IMS Recertification Achieved

by Jennie Suarez

Organizations around the world take pride in getting their companies and their processes ISO-certified. Companies that are certified with, at the very least, the ISO standard for Quality Management System are deemed as good partners for business.

With the leadership and commitment of top management, as well as the drive for excellence and teamwork of our employees, NLEX Corporation successfully passed the Integrated Management System (IMS) recertification audit conducted by DQS Philippines Certification on May 10 to 11 (Part 1) and October 21 to 22 (Part 2) this year. Our IMS conformed to latest versions of the three ISO standards we are subscribed to — ISO 9001 (Quality), ISO 14001 (Environment), and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety) — and is recommended for continued certification.

Certification audits are conducted every three years by external auditors, with two cycles of surveillance in between. The goal of the recertification audit is to ensure that the IMS is assessed, implemented, and properly documented.

With this recertification, we at NLEX Corporation once again proved that we value our customers and stakeholders. It also means that aside from ensuring the convenience and safety of motorists, we care for our employees and the environment.
