We are excited to share the news of the MPTC Personal Retirement Account (PRA) System launched on December 18, 2023.  At MPTC, we are committed to fostering innovation; it is a fundamental part of our corporate values, enhancing our business processes through digitalization.  

The MPTC PRA System introduces features that allow employees to easily manage their Personal Retirement Accounts (PRA), individually. Now, accessing information about the PRA is just a click away and it provides an overview of the PRA information and keeps track of contributions and balances. What is more, this user-friendly system provides services for a convenient and accessible 24/7 experience, including enrollment, investment options, and a beneficiaries tab. 

During the orientation sessions held last November 28 to December 7, 2023, HR Shared Services Head Ms. Tere Dorado, led informative discussions alongside Ms. Tin Cruz and Edsen Dave Del Mundo of the Compensation and Benefits Planning team. The orientation delved into the MPTC Group Retirement Plan Policy and provided valuable insights into accessing the PRA System and its features.  

Furthermore, we are thrilled to partner with Zalamea, a leading actuarial firm in the Philippines, now serving as our Fund Administrator for the PRA. Zalamea played a key role in establishing the PRA System, and we look forward to their ongoing support.  

A retirement plan is not just a compensation component, it is an investment in the financial security of employees for their future retirement. As Ms. Tere wisely advised, “Invest for our future; we should start planning, saving, and investing as early as now.”    

The successful launch of the PRA Online Portal was made possible through a collaborative effort. MPTC remains committed to guiding its employees’ future with the goal of Moving People Towards a Comfortable Future.
