Life is short—and if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that the best memories are often made in the quiet, ordinary moments spent with the people we love.
Every weekend, I try to slow down and focus on my family. It doesn’t have to be big or extravagant—just consistent, intentional time together. This past weekend was a perfect example. I had to attend my academic class, and instead of staying home, my husband and child joined me. They waited on campus all day, just so we could be together. Afterwards, we had dinner, nothing fancy—just a satisfying meal shared after a long day.

This Sunday was our “spa day”—we have routine activities we’ve started as a family every weekend (it can be spa day, movie day, outdoor breakfast, attend The Feast, go to the market together, etc.). We went out for a massage and nail spa session this time. It’s something we genuinely enjoy doing together, a chance to relax and unwind. After that, we came home and had lunch as a family, just like we always do.

These weekly small rituals are how we build lasting memories. I want my child to remember that we didn’t just make time for each other, but we make sure to prioritize it, especially every weekend. Because in the end, it’s not the big milestones but the little shared moments that truly matter.
