We are now in 2023. It’s notable that every January, we have a new year’s resolution like the #BalikAlindog program aiming to guide us to have a healthier lifestyle, enhance our body shape, strong physique, and better perspective in the days to come. At NLEX Corp., we have wellness programs that help us to achieve that goal.

Here at SCTEX or better known as Sector 3 of the Traffic Operations Department, they adopted basketball as their wellness program. With the esteemed support of its Division Head, Ma’am West Dionisio, Managers, Sir Robin Ignacio and Ma’am Cath Del Mundo, and Sector Heads, Sir Migz Petilo, Sir Jeck Mercado, and Sir Roy Miraflor, traffic personnel were given a chance to take part and made the event successful and highly appreciated.

Team ACS and Team JKM battled head-to-head during the finals at the Brgy. Dolores Covered Court in Mabalacat City. Team Admin, though eliminated early in the tournament, readily provided the logistical requirements. Patrol Officers from Subic, known as SFEX boys for Team RCT, also played and won over Team RDM.
After every game, the best player was recognized, and that boosted the morale of the players. PC Jeffrey Medrano was awarded the “Most Valuable Player.”
The games were lively as they were spiced up by the witty, inventive, and humorous adlibs by Inv Onofre Punzalan, PC Richardson Felipe, PC Dennis Regala, and PC Edmer Ayao. The game officials were Supv. Reggie Macapagal, PC Jay Musngi, PC Daniel Tolentino, PC Alexander Dayrit and PC Nicofort David.

Overall, the activity enhanced the physical and mental health of its participants. They also had the opportunity to display their talents and skills and fostered stronger camaraderie by giving them the chance to bond again and trickle their sweet sweats of success. Hope that everyone else will too!
